When setting up your first shoot it is pretty hard to start without some gear. And most of us will already have a pretty enough camera on us even if it is just your Smartphone.

However in spite of this famous quote from Chase, there are times when you need to add accessories or upgrade your camera to get better results.
On this page I will describe where I get some affordable gear for the starting out UK photographer/filmmaker on a budget. None of this should be misconstrued as advice, it is just my honest personal opinion and I encourage you to test out what I describe, and as always you can do your own research and draw your own conclusions.
Most of my starting out film kit I have purchased from this website. It is good quality for the price and compares well to Amazon and Ebay prices.
